The sun shone so we headed out of the valley with ski touring kit. Les Contamines was the destination as it is covered on our MBU Ski Pass this winter. Headed off the top ridge with friends over to the barrage and down into the ski domain again. Long ascent, and mixed snow on the descent. Nice soft snow to start and deteriorating on the lower slopes. Grand day out!
