Thursday day off at the chalet in Chamonix so we joined friends, Sauze and Patrick, for a ski tour from Les Contamines. Had a scoot around the pistes first then used the lift system to gain height. Only about 200m of up to reach the Col de la Fenetre and a beautiful descent back to the base of the lift system.
Good lunch spot at the chalets. Fantastic sunshine and pretty good snow considering the rise in temperature.
