Fabulous weather so went up the Aiguille du Midi with ski touring kit and headed up to Helbronner. Caught up with the clients from the chalet who were with Rob Jarvis (Mountain Guide). They are on a Chamonix Off Piste and Ski Mountain Skills course with Rob and Alison Culshaw all week.
Lunch stop up near Helbronner after the 45 minute ski tour up and then headed down the Vallee Noir; skiers right on the glacier down to Salle a Manger. Beautiful powder snow and fresh tracks all the way. Crevasses very well filled in. Skied down to Chamonix which was also in very good condition.
