El Niño and Bumper Snow?

Could be in for a good snow year.

“Weather experts say that the Earth could be experiencing the strongest El Niño for more than 60 years.” ~ BBC News

Apparently a strong El Niño causes colder, drier winters in Northern Europe and milder wetter winters in Southern Europe. Fortunately for us; it also coincides with fantastic snow in Chamonix. It may be colder but we can get around that with good kit and frequent coffee stops.

So, watch the weather folks as it may be a good year for pre Christmas skiing in Chamonix?
