Guests were out the door early to ski the Vallee Blanche with Steve, a High Mountain Guide so we took the opportunity to do the same, only we headed for the first cabin up Le Brevent and over to La Flegere.
Having cleared about 40cm of fresh off the drive of the chalet yesterday it was apparant that similar depth had not accummulated on the hill. High winds had loaded some slopes more than others making the loaded slopes quite unstable. On the first run off the Floria we found some great snow off piste and saw evidence of small slides as well.

By 1:30 the snow had changed with the increase in temperature to almost spring skiing conditions. the pistes were still in great condition and even grippier with the softened surface. Late lunch and headed back to Brevent to get a top in.
