With the recent heavy snowfall in Chamonix it is taking a little while for the lift company to get the terrain controlled for avalanches. The risk today is still 4/5 and a lot of the lifts are still closed. Rather than wait for things to open up we headed out of the valley to St Gervais (also on the MBU lift ticket) to check out the conditions there. We also had the excuse of a great friend’s Birthday. Happy Birthday Kate!!!
