Increasing avalanche risk
A grey morning with flat light in patches but chalky snow off piste. The pistes are somewhat hard and icy and one has to commit to your edges to get them to bite.
By noon there were signs of flocons (snowflakes) in the air and by 2.30pm it was definitely snowing.
Avalanche risk is increasing from 2/5 to 3/5 with the fresh snowfall which is due to continue through the night and tomorrow morning.
