Just under 900m of ascent takes you through trees and over fabulous skiing terrain. We got to the Col in two and a half hours in glorious sunshine and then the clouds came in. Skiing untracked spring snow from the top in flat light was interesting. Two thirds of the was down the snow got heavy and stickier but by then we were in the trees again so visibility was not an issue. Great day off from the chalet! Read on…
