Crazy Ken arrived yesterday with a completely new rig, skis, bindings boots and more. We decided to book an Aiguille du Midi and christen his new toys on the Vallee Blanche. After battling the masses on the ridge everyone dispersed in different directions so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Took a variant of the Petite Envers route which was in fantastic condition.
A grand day out, though I must say that the steps to get back up to Montenvers are definitely getting longer.
