The last week of so has been fantastic sunshine. Not always scorchers but we have had a couple of days with temperatures in the teens of degrees. Spring skiing conditions with the freezing overnight temperatures rendering the pistes bullet proof and then the sunshine softening the snow by mid morning. Likewise the off piste has stayed good but keep well clear early in the morning on south facing slopes unless you want to shake a filling loose.
The sunny weather also coincided with our wedding anniversary so we took a bottle of fizz which Troy kindly left us up the valley to Le Tour. After a scoot about the hill we found a sheltered spot and had a drink and a sandwich to celebrate.
