Seeking out the soft snow

It has been a while since our last dump of the white fluffy stuff but there are still odd spots of fresh in which to lay some tracks.

We have taken advantage of the sunny weather and the quiet slopes to venture out of the valley and explore different areas.

Courmayeur have been making massive piles of snow ready to stock up the pistes when needed. Their pistes are in amazing condition and the itinerary runs from the top of the Arp and the Youlas are good for an adventure.

Les Contamines also has amazing pistes and the touring is good too over the Col de Fenetre and the Col de Cicle. The Roman Road back to the Gorge is getting really icy and there are a few rocks so take crampons just in case.
