The last 8 days have been glorious sunshine and the snow from the garden at the chalet is gradually disappearing. On the south facing slopes of La Flegere and Le Brevent the snow is definitely in spring condition and going slushy in the heat by lunchtime. Sun screen sales are up in town.

- The ski shops have started their end of season sales.
- Loads of sunburnt faces around Chamonix town
- BBQs seen up the mountain
- Crocus out on the roundabouts
- Got the Rose wine out at the chalet
- Salad lunches in the garden at the chalet
- Thick fleeces packed away for next season
