Plus quite a lot of people. Skied at Le Brevent and La Flegere yesterday in glorious sunshine and not a cloud in the sky. The pistes were in remarkably good condition and you only noticed the million people where the pistes got narrow and in the lift lines which were not as bad as expected.

Just back from Les Grands Montets where the sun does not get to until later in the day. The off piste is all bumps and strewn with exposed rocks and the pistes are getting icy with all the New Year traffic. Nothing that a fresh dump of the white stuff will sort out (due at the end of the week).
