The lift system opened partially last weekend and was busy. Poor visibility didn’t put off the crowds and skiers and boarders were out doing their thing at La Flegere and Grands Montets. Early guests at the chalet are on ski training courses with Off Piste Performance and next week with All Mountain Performance.
Today the visibility improved and offered views across the Chamonix Valley. It also gave an opportunity for all those folk with ski touring kit to get out there and find the fresh lines. By the end of Tuesday there were ski tracks all over the Aiguille Rouge, way beyond the reach of the lift systems.
The weather is set to stay cold this week and more snow is expected for the weekend. Keep an eye on the forecast and see what availability we have in the chalet.
