Day off and a good forecast so we had an adventure planned! Climbing the Cosmiques Arrete from the Aiguille du Midi. Very kindly our great friend and mountain guide Steve Hartland had offered to take both Al and myself up there for the day, so we jumped at the opportunity. Al has been wanting to do this for ages and I climbed it many moons ago with very little climbing experience so was excited to do it again in a little more style maybe!
Very little wind, wall to wall sunshine made for perfect conditions. We had a cracking day with mixed climbing on rock, snow and no ice. As always felt in very safe hands and learnt some new rope skills as well as being able to point out a few more mountains.
