February has been an awesome month in Chamonix with all manner of weather. We have had powder skiing in the trees at Les Houches with the Greenwood family. Blue skies and powder at Domaine de Balme. A chalet full of folk on an Introduction to Ski Touring week with Alison and Rob. And a ski tour for Sauze’s Birthday up Pointe de la Croix from Arpy in Italy.
Today we tried to get up the Aiguille du Midi to do a run but alas the lift closed as we arrived with winds of over 90km/h at the top. So we ended up at Grands Montets off piste all day.
The best thing is the February is not yet over!
