What a great start to the winter season here in Chamonix. The early snowfall has meant early opening of virtually the entire lift system. And the pistes are in fabulous condition. High mountain strong winds have scoured some ridges for the off piste and also created swathes of flat chalky snow which is super grippy. More snow due at the end of the week in time for the Christmas skiers and snowboarders.
