Off piste better than the pistes at the moment.
The pistes at Grands Montets were fairly bullet proof today and did not soften up in the cold air. The off piste, and there is a lot of it, was chalky, grippy snow. Wonderful for getting your edges into and carving away. Some areas were heavily bumped but others were blown in powder which was an even greater treat.
