Snow is on its way
That is it, the chalet is ready for guests and the forecast for this weekend is for 50cm of snow down to 1000m. Up high there has been quite a lot of the white stuff but the lower slopes of Chamonix have a smattering. Courmayeur however is partially open. So the mop and duster go back in the cupboard and we are heading to Italy to get the first ski of the season.
First guests arrive tonight.
