We are now in January and the slopes are quiet. Managed to get to La Flegere for an early lift up with the intention of ski touring over to Le Buet via the Col Crochues and Col de Berard.
The pistes were deserted as we went up the Index lift and there was no track in up to the Crochues. Likewise there was no traverse in the other side or up to the Col de Berard so we were breaking trail all the way.
The first third of the descent was nice snow then it got really heavy and wet so we spent more time walking out to Buet than skiing.
