The weather is cold and the snow that we have is in good condition. Day one of a ski course with Alison Culshaw at Grands Montets went very well. Breezy has a few things to work on and she is working on me to get her some heated socks for her Christmas stocking.
The Bochard lift and the top bin at Grands Montets are open as well as a couple of the lower chair lifts. There is not enough coverage at the moment to ski to the valley floor so taking a lift down is the only option. La Flegere is also open but only a couple of the green slopes so nothing accessing the higher slopes.
Generally the pistes are in pretty good condition though they are getting a little icy towards the end of the day. The off piste is nice grippy, chalky snow. There are certainly more rocks about off piste but pretty visible.
