The past week has put down loads of fresh snow down to 600m. The pisteurs in the valley have done an amazing job of preparing the pistes and securing the ski domains. Guests have done a brilliant job of putting fresh tracks in the powder too. There have been big grins around the table every evening as people swap stories.
Now the temperatures have dropped and no further snowfall is due for a week. This morning the van read minus 14 degrees. The cold will hold the snow condition and hopefully open up ski touring possibilities as the slopes stabilise.
