Wednesday and the skies cleared for a beautiful descent down the Vallee Blanche from the Aiguille du Midi. It was our first VB this season so we chose the Petit Envers route coming down into the exit couloirs skiers left of the Requin Refuge rather than through the Salle a Manger which is heavily crevassed at the moment.

- Walking back through town
The snow was generally good though a little heavy where it was not tracked. Skiers left of Petit Rognon was also wind affected. The exit couloirs were quite rocky. Once on the Mer de Glace the going was easy and straight forward.
