In a “normal” winter season, one would use the lift system of Les Contamines to get to the top of the ridge. Then ski a couple of hundred meters before a skin up of less than an hour to get to the Col de la Fenetre. Once there you have a 1200m descent back to the car-park.
This is not a “normal” winter season, and it is a long way up without the lift system. Worth it though!
