Just over the Valley from the Tete Pelouse in the Aravis is a rock arch called the Trou de la Mouche. We were luck enough to get fresh powder snow from the top to the bottom.
Definitely the best day of skiing this season so far, and no lift system to thank for it. Joined up with Sauze, Patrick, Jeff and Mark to ski tour up from Les Confins near Cluzas. Headed up the Coombe du Grand Crete, through the Trou de la Mouche, and down the Coombe de Paccaly. It is so nice to be able to explore the mountains outside the Chamonix Valley.
