Col de La Fenetre Ski Tour Les Contamines

Day off at the chalet so headed out of the valley to Les Contamines for a scoot about and a short tour. The pistes were in amazing condition and deserted. The tour is only about 45minutes of up from the ski domain and gives fantastic views of Mont Blanc from the Col. The snow on the way down was very good, if a little heavy on the lower slopes and the Roman Road was probably the best I have seen it. One section of sheet ice but the snowfall expected over the weekend may well sort that out.
