A Grand Day out
A friend’s Birthday was a great excuse to get out of the Chamonix Valley and explore Les Contamines. Eleven of us warmed up on the pistes before heading off to play with the soft stuff off piste. Bruce and Kate managed to find some great snow off the pistes with long descents and very short walk outs.
After a longish lunch to celebrate Kate’s Birthday we descended to the carpark. After lunch the pistes were getting icier but the upper slopes were still good. Such is the nature of artificial snow.
