Saturday at Grands Montets was so windy in the morning that the Hearse chair and the Bochard remained closed until mid morning and the top lift did not open before mid afternoon. Certain slopes had wind-blown in snow creating perfectly smooth grippy snow where before it was all bumped.
Good conditions for the Black Crow weekend at Grands Montets.
Once the Hearse opened the wind was blowing the snow around the top giving the effect of a moving carpet. Beautiful!
